Over the past few months we’ve been working on new barrel contours, calibers, and barrel manufacturers for the AR-15 & AR-10/LR-308 rifles. We’re also expanding our line of suppressors that we offer and working to keep a supply of these on order and available for immediate purchase. There have also been some recent developments in Kansas state laws concerning firearms transfers and the use of suppressors for hunting.
The new barrel contours developed for the AR-10/LR-308 are the Tactical Sniper and SPR. The Tactical Sniper (TS) contour is designed for short to medium range police sniper response. The SPR contour is designed for urban, patrol scout, or hunting.
On the TS contour we reduced the main body diameter by .05” from .98” to .93”, increased the muzzle diameter by .12” from .75” to .87”, and added full barrel deep cut fluting. The contour has the appearance of a stout bull barrel but without the unwieldy weight of a nose heavy barrel and has the same overall weight as the SDM contour These barrels are currently available with a Rock Creek 5R 1:11.27 blank and eventually Bartlien 5R 1:11.23.

The TS Contour will be replacing the SDM contour.
The SPR contour is a takeoff from WOA’s 5.56 SPR contour only chambered 308. This design is intended for urban and patrol conflicts where a precession grade rifle is required without having to call in a sniper. Additionally, it makes a nice parameter defense rifle and very good for most hunting applications. The SPR is offered in Rock Creek blanks. These blanks are single point rifle cut 5R barrels with a 1:11.27 twist rate.

With the Bartliens blanks we’re using Compass Lake Engineering (CLE) out of Florida. Generally White Oak Armament performs our barrel chambering and finishing however on way the blanks were ordered Bartlien recommended we use CLE. Compass Lake is also well known for their chambering and finishing of the AR platform barrels. We’re expecting some Bartlien 5R 1:11.23 barrels with the same TS contour and are still in the process of designing a new contour for the Bartlien 6.5 Creedmore blanks.
In the state of Kansas the governor has passed a law that defines suppressors are legal to hunt with. Of course we know what the leftist are thinking now all the game hunters are going to become hit men. So we are planning to stock up on large caliber suppressors. We will be stocking more rifle suppressors as a result of this. Additionally, we’re going to try the Tac Solutions 22 can’s.
We’ve also sent two more rifles up to Chris at Roberts Outdoor Hydrographics. We stopped by and spent a little time with him reviewing the last project with him on how we can improve the process. We still have a little testing to do with the gas block because coatings still increase the OD by .02 and prevent a clean installation of a single piece gas block. We also spent some time reviewing various patterns and colors (no this was not some homo fest).
Crusader Series: DPMS Receiver, Magpul CTR, YHM LW 4 rail, 16” WOA sst barrel, CMMG 2 stage trigger, shadow skull pattern. This pattern will be introduced as part of our crusader series of rifles. This pattern is based on Psalms 23:4. The difference with our crusader series rifles is that they will not be used to kill in the name of God but to defend the name of God. God will provide you the spiritual strength and guidance to carry on and we will provide you the material strength to complete your mission. Via Con Dios, mi amigos.
We also had an AR-10 done in the new camo pattern. This pattern simulates broken concrete and quasi desert look. This rig was built with a TS contour barrel, SI-Defense billet receiver set, Troy Industries TRX rail, and Magpul PRS. This rifle is not for sissy’s. This is a totally bad-ass combination of components and workmanship from people we consider the best in the business (yes, we include ourselves in that).

The next item we’re releasing is the 300 Whisper in a 9” SBR profile and 16.5”. We expect those to be available in the next two months. We are preparing to place an order for several AAC 7.62 SDN-6 suppressors and will be offering a discount for pre-payment. The suppressors typically sell for $995 w/a 51 tooth blackout mount. We will be offering the package for $950 w/mount until the order is placed on 6/30/11.
With summer coming on it’s a good time to start planning for fall and this summer we’re planning more range outings. Several of our clients are now members at MCRC. This is an excellent pistol and rifle range that offers us a relaxed ungoverned place to practice and test out our equipment. Since club rules allow only one member and one guest to shoot simultaneously we’re going to try and schedule our shoots where several other members are present to make the most of our time at the range.
Another project we’ve been working on with a good friend and client of ours is a 140grn load for the 260Rem. This has been a real interesting project where we’ve gone found two nodes or bandwidth of loads that perform. However, the barrel performs best with 120grn and very well with the Hornaday 129sst. Once we nail down the load we’ll publish it for the rest of the 260 shooters.
We appreciate your business and hope everyone enjoys their summer. Also do not let your guard down on our Constitutional rights that are under serious assault from several federal and international agencies. We generally don’t panic over most of the bullshit but with the border assaults and transactions of guns going across the border by federal agencies, general sentiment to disarm people, the blue helmet rapists murdering thugs and collusion at the state department, there is a heightened cause for alarm.
If you’re repentant socialist parasite or good old boy my friends don’t find yourself without the means to defend, protect, or shelter yourself and family. We also want to recommend our good friend Brian at Havoc Dynamics for all of your bugout needs.
