NFA General Information:
We offer Class III transfers and sales of NFA listed items. NFA stands for National Firearms Act and includes such items as: Short Barrel Rifles (SBR), which is any gun with a stock that has a barrel less then 16” in length; Machine Guns (MG), which is any gun or sear (sear is the piece of metal that allows the gun to operate in full auto mode) that was manufactured before 1986; Suppressors/Silencers, which is any device that suppresses the sound of the firearm. Contrary to popular belief, leftist, local police departments, and other idiots several states allow law abiding citizens to legally own NFA items. These items have been highly glorified in movies and recent politics with Mexico that anyone who owns one is running drugs, ex-Stazzi, KGB, Mafioso, or a hit man. Again ignorance and slavish reliance on the mainstream media, liberals, idiots, and other general dumb asses, believe this bullshit. Hence is why we are here to help spread the truth and fight ignorance, lies, communism, central planners, and other dunces to encourage everyone to buy a machine gun, suppressor or short barreled rifle from D9Firearms and find out what you’ve been missing. NFA Forms and Documents Used for Transfers: Just like general firearms we sell and provide transfers for NFA items. Primarily we focus are sales efforts on suppressors, but provide transfers for MG’s, suppressors, and assistance with Form 1 for SBR’s. On our website we provide multiple forms that can and are used in transferring possession of a NFA item. The forms we primarily deal with are: Form 1 – This is used to register a receiver as a SBR if the rifle was originally purchased as a standard receiver or complete non SBR firearm. We provide assistance with filling this out but this is primarily done by the end user. Form 3 – This is what we use to transfer NFA items between Class III dealers and manufacturers. These are filled out and faxed to the ATF and generally take about 3 weeks to turn around. Once the approval is given, the manufacturer or dealer can transfer it to another dealer. Form 4 – This is what we use to transfer NFA items from dealers to the individual. Prior to filling out this form we must have the item in hand to verify all the information that was provided on Form 3. Certification of Compliance – This form is used confirm who you say you are. Sounds ridiculous, but that’s the government. Finger Print Cards – If you’ve been to jail then you know all about finger printing. Most local law enforcement facilities have electronic capability to scan and print your finger prints on a standard form recognized by the ATF. There is usually a fee per card and two sets are required. Photo ID – Again if you’ve been to prison, filled out a passport, you will know the drill. Just go down anyone who can provide you with two quality passport photos. (Make sure they are of you.) Trust – This is like any trust you set up to pass personal items to your family members without the government getting what the feel is there fair share. These documents are prepared by the individual and include the trust and the appendix that lists the items in the trust. This document must be setup prior to filling out the Form 4, and be notarized before submitting it to the ATF. The benefit of a Trust is that you can have multiple trustee’s, therefore allowing the NFA item to be used by those individuals without you present. Other benefits are you don’t need the finger print cards, photos, or your local law enforcement agency signing off on it. NOTE: THE OWNER OF THE NFA ITEM MUST BE IN POSSESION OF IT AT ALL TIMES OF USE, STORAGE (YOUR DOMICILE) OR TRANSPORTATION. YOU CAN NOT LEND THIS TO JOE BLOW DOWN THE STREET TO SMOKE SOME CATS, RABITS, OR IN GENERAL USE IT WITHOUT THE OWNER BEING PRESENT. YOU WILL GO TO JAIL, JOE BLOW WILL GO TO JAIL, AND YOU WILL NO LONGER ENJOY YOUR MANHOOD. IF YOU ARE A WOMAN, WELL I DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT WOMEN IN PRISON BUT MY GUESS IS THERE WILL BE SOME TYPE OF DOMINATRIX STYLE BULL DYKE ACTION GOING ON. Process: (D9Firearms Clients) Once you’ve determined the suppressor you want make arrangements to purchase it. Depending if you are buying from out of state or local will determine the first step. Purchasing your suppressor locally from D9Firearms: (In State) First if we have the suppressor in stock you can proceed with making the arrangements to purchase it and then fill out the Form 4 paper work. This is the point at which you also pay for the suppressor. You then need to decide if you are going the trust route or standard route of having the local sheriff sign off. -Trust – If you go with a trust, you can use an existing trust, the example on our website for a new trust, a lawyer, or other legal trust documents. Keep the name short. Once you’ve completed the trust document you will need a notary of the public to sign off. (At this point you do not need to present the NFA item or attachment page.) When your trust has been setup, bring it over to start the Form 4 paper. The Form 4 paper work is a simplified version of a 4473 form and generally takes about 15 minutes to complete and review. Next we fill out two certificates of compliance forms. Neither of these requires you to provide us with ID. (If you’re lying, well then I guess you will find out what prison sex is like.) Once this is complete, and all documents have been provided in duplicate, prepare a personal check in the amount stated on the Form 4 ($200 for suppressors) to the ATF. Verify all documents are collated into two separate complete stacks and attach the check to one of them. Then mail to the ATF at the address provided for on Form 4 top right hand corner. We then keep the NFA item in our possession until the stamp is approved. -Standard Process – We proceed with filling out the Form 4 paper work. The Form 4 paper work is a simplified version of a 4473 form and generally takes about 15 minutes to complete and review. Next we fill out two certificate of compliance forms. Neither of these require you to provide us with ID. (If you’re lying, well then I guess you will find out what prison sex is like.) Upon completion, you will take it down to the local sheriff where you can get your finger print cards, background check, and sign off. Next attach, your two mug shots to the place indicated on the Form 4. Once this is complete, and all documents have been provided in duplicate, prepare a personal check in the amount stated on the Form 4 ($200 for suppressors) to the ATF. Verify all documents are collated into two separate complete stacks and attach the check to one of them. Then mail to the ATF at the address provided for on Form 4 top right hand corner. We then keep the NFA item in our possession until the stamp is approved. D9Firearms as the in state transfer agent: Since we don’t always have everything you want we are always glad to assist our clients with transfers. To transfer a suppressor from out of state it is similar to purchasing a firearm from out state. However, in this case the transferor has to fill out a Form 3 and fax it into the ATF. Once the transferor receives confirmation, then he is legally allowed to transfer it to D9Firearms. Once we have the paperwork and suppressor in hand it becomes like a local sale described above. At this point we collect a $50 transfer fee. ATF Process: Once you have submitted your paper work to the ATF, they immediately cash your check, spend it on parties, dancing girls, arresting non-compliant firearms dealers (or ones that make slanderous remarks about them), and in general have a good time and spend the next 4 months drinking coffee and reviewing your background. Honestly I don’t know what they do with your paperwork for 4 months, but generally the people we have worked with are serious about what they do and have been good to work with. Approval: Once your Form 4 has been approved, the ATF mails us a hard copy. We then inform you to come by and sign for it. Although a 4473 form is not required, we will have you fill one out as a means of protecting us to show we have transferred it legally and by the books. Last Step: Solitude with a big Smile. Enjoy.
